London (UK) based photographer Gee Virdi captures poignancy in a familiar and commonness in an extraordinary way. He is a visual story teller. From Red Arrows, to London celebrities, he has dedicated his life in telling many untold stories. He is diverse with his eye behind the lens. He carries out most of his work in his very own studio located in London.
In his very own words "My keen interest is in people & lifestyle photography, where I focus on giving my clients beautiful, fine art images of theirs or their loved ones. Over the years I've developed a style of imagery where I connect my viewers heart & soul through my work. Capturing beautiful feelings and freezing different emotions is what I love to show through my work..."
Growing up in a small eastern Indian town, his introduction to photography was unintentional, but fateful. His early introduction to photography was his dad's 'Lubitel 2', which was his first step into the world of photographic delights. Since then he never turned back.
Moving between silver-base media to digital media, Gee has never lost sight of the importance of tending to his images. This passion both in front and behind the lens has not gone unnoticed. His work has appeared in nine photography books and five Day in the Life books. A World Press award winner, he has also received honors from, Pictures of the Year and the Communication Arts annual.
