I’m Gurbaksh Virdi — most people call me GV.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of leadership, transformation, and innovation. I see it not as a set of career milestones, but as the core of what I’ve built, navigated, and rebuilt. As a business transformation executive, I’ve never particularly followed established paths; I’m much more drawn to creating new ones.

Intuition, adaptability, and a relentless focus on closing the gap between strategy and reality have shaped my career. I think in possibilities, but I work in practical terms. That balance is where the most important work happens — and it’s where I’ve spent nearly three decades.

To clarify who I am: I’m technical, but not a technologist. I’m commercially minded, but I’ve never sat in an ivory tower. I’m the kind of leader who rolls up his sleeves, gets into the detail, and drives transformation with equal parts entrepreneurial energy and hard-earned perspective. The resilience I bring today wasn’t handed to me — it was built through challenges, long nights, and a stubborn refusal to confuse wishful thinking with a plan.
